September 17, 2021: Sendai Station West Concourse (in front of the center gate)
On the first Friday after the state of emergency was lifted, but stronger measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus was re-applied to Sendai city, the number of people passing through the main concourse of Sendai Station was about similar to August 27 when the state of emergency was declared. There were some people who were waiting for their friends: almost of them went away as soon as their friends came here. The concourse was so noisy because cleaning up from a merchandising event was being done, and maybe this was one of the reason why people did not want to stay concourse.

September 17, 2021: Sendai Station East and West Free Pass
The number of people passing through the East and West Free Pass was also about similar to August 27. Almost all benches were occupied like August 27, but no one was drinking alcohol at the bench on this day.
