January 2, 2023: Nakake-Cho(In front of Pachinko Salon)
On the morning of the Sendai new year sale, many people passed through the street around the pachinko salons: in my impression, more people than the year 2022. Some but not so many people went in and out of the pachinko salons around the recording point.

January 2, 2023: Nakake-Cho (In front of Mihara-Do)
This soundscape was recorded at in front of the Mihara-Do in the second block of the central street from the station. There were many, but less than in front of Fujisaki Department Store described below, people around the street: in my impression, as same as the year 2022.

January 2, 2023: CLIS road (in front of AEON shopping center)
This soundscape was recorded in front of AEON. Many people, but less than in front of Fujisaki Department Store, passed through the street around this recording point. Many people were shopping at the storefront, and also many people went in the shopping center. The most different point from 2022 was that the CD shop next to the recording spot was closed, so no loud music was broadcasted around here, and therefore the voices of sellers could be heard clearly. Another impressive sound was the sound of a bell ringing in front of a grocery near the shopping center.

January 2, 2023: In front of Fujisaki Department store
At a little past the opening time of Fujisaki Department store, the line of people who wanted to shop at Fujisaki began moving slowly. So many people lined up. There were clearly more people than 2022. The number of people adding to the line was almost as same as the speed of the line of people, so a watchman with the sign "rearmost" did not move while I recorded this soundscape.
