August 20, 2021: Nakake-Cho(In front of Pachinko Salon)
On this day, stronger measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus started in Sendai and all restaurants and bars in Sendai city could not sell alcoholic beverage. Clearly more people than the day before this day passed through the street. One of two pachinko salons left the doors open maybe in order to ventilate as a countermeasure for the infection of COVID-19, the noise from the pachinko salon were always heard. The number of people going in and out the pachinko salons seemed similar to the day before this day. Three staffs of Izakaya bars which ignored the requests for shortened hours of operation hold up respective bars' signboards, but they did not tout with loud voices, like the day before this day.

This soundscape was recorded at in front of the Mihara-Do in the second block of the central street from the station. The number of people around here was clearly more than the day before this day. Many groups of people were talking while they walked, and the broadcast of a drug store which was clearly heard on the day before this day was often masked by their voices. Occasionally, the noise from a pachinko salon located opposite side of the recording point were heard, when people went in or out the salon, like the day before this day
