| ♦ | JR East is planning to operate a steam locomotive named "SL for Pre-Camgaign 'Destination: Fukushima'". A test run for the operation was doing on the day. |
| ♦ | The steam locomotive was runnning through in front of a primary temporary strage site for radioactive contamination from Kanayagawa district |
| ♦ | Some railroad buffs came to shoot phots of the steam locomotive on the other side of the temporary strage site. (left picture) |
| ♦ | Because uphill slope from Fukushima to Koriyama is so steep, the steam locomotive can not pull coaches alone. Therefore, an electric locomotive helped the steam locomotive. (center picture) |
