Amid the rampancy of the Omicron variant of COVID-19, the crowd of people
at the main concourse of Sendai Statin was small for a Sunday. Especially,
less people than usual Sunday waited for each other at the concourse.

■February 6, 2022: Sendai Station East and West Free Pass
Less people than usual Sunday afternoon passed through the East and West
Free Pass. Today's feature is that few groups of people with more than
four people passed through the pass, except families. Maybe one of the reasons
was Miyagi Prefecture requested that high school students not participate in
club activities. About half of the benches on the free pass was occupied.
