The first day of a four-day weekend, main concourse of Sendai station was so crowded. The only big differences from before the COVID-19 issues was that market clerks did not call passersby with loud voices like 22 July, so the market was not as lively as usual.

July 23, 2020: Sendai Station East and West Free Pass
So many people passed through this free pass. The free pass was a little bit quieter than the night of 22 July, maybe because no group of drunkards passed through because of the daytime. People who used carry bags were more than usual, maybe because of the Japanese governmental travel campaing named "Go To Travel Campaing".

So many people passed through the pedestrian deck of the Sendai Station, too. Compared with May 24, clearly many people were passing at the deck.
