On the day of the Sendai new year sale amid the third rampancy of the COVID-19,
a certain number of people passed through in front of the pachinko salon on
the Nakake street. Although the Pachinko salons on this street were opened,
a few people went in and out the Pachinko salons.

■January 2, 2021: Nakake-Cho (In front of Mihara-Do)
This soundscape was recorded at in front of the Mihara-Do in the second block
of the central street from the station. Quite many people passed through the
site. Some shop clerks of some shops call people with loud voices to attract.

■January 2, 2021: CLIS road (in front of AEON shopping center)
This soundscape was recorded in front of AEON. There was a line of people
buying AEON's grab bags. Shop clerks of the AEON call people with loud voices
to attract, but loud promotion music played in front of the CD shop masked the
voices.

■January 2, 2021: Marble road (CLIS road side)
This recording was done at the end of the Marble road (opposite end of the
Fujisaki department store). Some shop clerks of some shops called passersby
to attract. Many of the people walked to the direction of the Sendai Station
brought the grab bags of one of the shops.

A certain number of people passed around the Fujisaki Department store.
There were no shop clerk calling the passengers to attract, so, it was
comparably quiet around here. Many of the people walked to the direction
of the Sendai Station brought the grab bags of one of the shops, too.
