■March 24, 2020: Station Square of Fukushima Station (excerption)
An event to show off the Olympic Fire was held at the Station Square of
Fukushima Station. I've never seen such large number of people were gathering
in this square after the severe accidents of the nuclear power plants.
The congressional representative elected from Fukushima, the prefectural
governor of Fukushima, the mayor of Fukushima city attended this event.
Countermeasures for the infection of COVID-19 were (1) only people wearing
masks could standed in line for watching the fire, and (2) visitors should
line up at a distance.
